Liz Graznak’s first year at the Columbia Farmers Market was is 2008 selling her first ever garlic crop, planted the fall of 2007 just after she and her wife, Katie, had purchased the land that was eventually to become Happy Hollow Farm. Liz was still working full time at Superior Garden Center at that time.
Full-time year-round farming starting for Liz in early 2010 with the construction of the farm’s greenhouse which was completed on Valentines Day that year. Her first year selling weekly at the Columbia Farmers Market was the summer of 2012 and she began selling at the indoor winter market in 2013. Liz started attending the mid-week markets in 2018. As a full time vegetable farmer and only one of two USDA certified organic growers at the Columbia Farmers Market, Liz has attended nearly every weekly farmers market since 2013.
Providing healthy, beautiful and sustainably raised fruits, vegetables and flowers to the Columbia community is a tough job but one that brings Liz immense joy and a feeling of accomplishment and gratitude every day.
