splash of vinegar (balsamic, sherry, white wine, red wine.. any good vinegar you have laying around)
Recipe Directions
Heat a couple tablespoons of olive oil on medium-high heat in saute pan or other pot with high sides and a lid. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Don't let the garlic burn.
Add the greens to the pot along with half a can of chicken or vegetable broth OR 1/2 cup of water. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes over medium heat, stirring every few minutes and adding more water or broth to prevent the greens from burning.
After 5-7 minutes, uncover season with salt and pepper.
Let liquid cook down a few more minutes, then add splash of vinegar to taste.
