Even on solstice, empty bed space, means time for planting!
No matter the weather or time of year, if there is an empty bed in a high tunnel, we are planting it with something. Yesterday was leeks and a winter onion variety called 'Desert Sunrise'
There's nothing more invigorating than working with the soil on a cold winter day, knowing that soon the sun will come out and the days will get longer and these beautiful transplants will start to grow!
