- 1 or 2 small cucumbers

Alternate version of recipe Ingredients:
- 1-2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon dry mint or 3-4 fresh stems and leaves
- 1 quart plain yogurt
- 2 large or 4 smallish cucumbers
- Pound garlic with salt and mint and mix into yogurt.
- Add chopped cucumbers and serve alone or with added garbanzo beans and pita bread that has been toasted.
Alternate version of recipe directions:
- Mash garlic with salt and mint.
- Add yogurt and blend well.
- Cut cucumbers in half lengthwise (can peel if desired) and then slice thinly horizontally.
- Add cucumbers to yogurt mixture.
- Fold together gently.
