Spring is definitely here and things are in FULL SWING on the farm!
After more than a week of solid sunshine and nice winds the high tunnel finally dried out enough that I could work the ground and start planting in it. These are some of the first lettuce transplants.
The ground outside may we workable (finally) this week, which will be a good thing because there are hundreds of little baby transplants waiting to go in the ground!
Click on the link April Newsletter, 2011 CSA Season to check out our second newsletter of the season. Newsletters will start to come out on a weekly basis once the harvest season begins (which is still looking like the second week of May at this point).
FarmHer Liz & Crew are taking a few weeks off. We're tackling projects and transplanting our first spring crops. We'll be back open in March for online ordering and you can also find us every Saturday at the Columbia Farmers Market!
